Temporary Place of Assembly: Google

Google, the most visited website in the world and the most valuable brand in 2017, specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. Google’s New York City offices are situated at 111 Eighth Avenue, in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. The building occupies 2.9 million square feet and is the city’s 4th largest building in terms of floor area. As part of Google’s internal employee unconscious bias awareness training, KOHN architecture, a TPA architect, provided Temporary Place of Assembly (TPA) plans and permit for this special exhibition event. It includes design and spatial layout of non-combustible plywood panels that held the main texts and images of the exhibition
