Temporary Place of Assembly: Brooklyn Children’s Museum

Kohn Architecture is a TPA Architect in NYC. Brooklyn Children’s Museum (BCM) is New York City’s largest cultural institution designed especially for children and families. The museum facility itself has multiple event spaces including a large rooftop garden pavilion enclosed by a spectacular steel and Kevlar canopy structure.

As architect of record, Kohn Architecture has worked with the museum to create multiple Temporary Place of Assembly (TPA) plans for different event configurations, ranging in capacity of 150 to 1200 people for  weddings, parties, bar mitzvahs, cultural events and art exhibits.   From travel distances to egress calculations, FDNY requirements, KOHN architecture provided TPA permits for multiple events on its acclaimed rooftop pavilion and inside the facilities. If you’re in need of TPA plans or permits, contact Kohn Architecture today.
